I’ve accomplished a lot this year. I’m not saying that because of the image you see above, but because of where my spirit was when the year began versus where it is now. How my relationships were in January of 2020, and how close I am with the important people in my life now.

There’s no doubt this year has thrown its share of curveballs at us, but the real testament to whether the year was “good” or “bad” is how you adapted to the unforeseen circumstances that you found yourself in. I won’t lie and say I handled everything perfectly. I doubted, I cried, I got discouraged, but every time I managed to pull myself up (or I was dragged up with the help of those who love me).

At the end of 2019, I wrote a blog titled ‘Mental Revolution.’ The reoccurring phrase was “A revolution begins because something needs to change.” As I wrote it, I focused on the internal changes that are necessary to make drastic improvements in your life… thinking positively, creating a more supportive circle of friends, not wasting time on things that don’t align with your goals. I didn’t know at the time how important these things would turn out to be in 2020.

To deal with the isolation and the cancellations.

To deal with the sickness and the death and the murders.

To deal with weeks of endless protests.

To deal with exhaustion.

To deal with the unknown, and having more questions than answers.

I’ve come out of this year with multiple new quarantine skills, spent more time with family and friends than I had in years, and I’ve had an abundance of time to focus on my spiritual growth.

I hope that in your reflection you don’t solely focus on what you couldn’t/didn’t achieve this year. But instead, think about what you’ve learned from those difficult moments and how these lessons were only taught to help shape you into your greatest form. Let’s focus on these lessons and not forget all our growth.

One really cool thing about this year is that we now ALL have a shared experience. People tend to feel more connected to those they can relate to. And now we, the people of this Earth, have something in common that connects us all together. We made it through 2020.

Maybe now people can understand each other a little better.

Anyways,

Set Your Intentions…then burn it….because the Universe does what it wants. 😛

Happy New Year

With All the Love I AM
